This extremely successful line of vessels had a long production run starting in the mid 1970's, as the 45 and 4588 Motor Yachts becoming greatly improved in size and quality when the 4788 was introduced and finally finishing its presence as the Meridian 490.

This design was so well laid out and popular that many other builders went on to produce their versions of this yacht.

It is said the highest form of flattery is imitation.

The layout is spacious with comfortable, bright open living and entertainment spaces, three state rooms that include a master walk around queen berth, a double VIP cabin and a separate 2 single berth bunk room that is big enough for guests, children or easily made into an office.
